Operations committee

The Operations Committee is charged with reviewing and analyzing the impact of new and changing SEC/UCC regulations upon the operational procedures and policies of our members. It reports to STA's Board with recommendations as to the best way to comply with them and discusses best practices to deal with a variety of operational issues. Members share information on a wide range of operational practices, such as dealing with audits and examinations, or investor problems.

The Operations Committee has been instrumental in the creation, and subsequent updating, of STA Guidelines, and has worked with STAMP and SIFMA to develop the current Paperless Legals Program, and the Y and Z medallion.
