STA MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
STA transfer agent membership is open to organizations having filed TA-1 or TA-2 forms with the SEC. Dues are based on size/number of accounts serviced per those filings. Membership covers the calendar year, with full payment due upon joining and excess funds pro-rated as a credit towards the following year as applicable.

$4,000,000.00 of additional insurance against losses you may incur from fraudulent transactions secured by a Medallion Stamp. This STAMP Excess Liability Insurance comes automatically with STA membership, and is an important protection for agents.
Information on regulations and changes in the industry. STA's Board meets regularly with both the Securities and Exchange Commission as well as the Depository Trust Company, giving and receiving feedback concerning current issues.
Email alerts when new regulations are either issued or proposed. We encourage you to provide us with your opinion on these issues for potential inclusion in STA comment letters on proposals. Your voice will be heard.

STA vendor partner membership is open to organizations providing products or services to the transfer agent industry and to other companies offering transfer agent services on a scale not yet necessitating the filing of a TA-1 form with the SEC.
