MISSION

The mission of the Unclaimed Property Committee is:

• To provide a forum for sharing and discussing the latest unclaimed property issues, including proposed and recently passed legislation, litigation and other issues that can impact the industry.

• To identify areas where STA can potentially influence legislative changes, administrative policies and active litigation in ways that could positively impact the investors, industry and operational compliance.

• To liaise with the Holders’ Coalition, Unclaimed Property Professional Organization, the Shareholder Services Association and other appropriate trade organizations in promoting the mission of the Unclaimed Property Committee of the Securities Transfer Association.
